Contact Lens Regulation in Singapore

Under the Optometrists and Opticians Act, only registered optometrists and opticians with contact lens certification can prescribe, supply and dispense contact lenses.

 

Eyedealogy requires a valid (within 1 year) optometrist prescription prior to any purchase. All prescriptions are verified by our team of Eyedealogists.

 

No prescription? Do not fret! Click on our appointment book to arrange for our friendly mobile optometrist to come visit you for an eye check, or go down to any one of our stores or partner stores for a free eye check.

 

We do not recommend buying contact lens from:

– Online websites that are not based in Singapore. These websites are not subject to the same strict scrutiny that we are, in terms of contact lens registrations and the dispensing of contact lenses.

 

-Websites that do not provide aftercare service or require a valid prescription for any purchase.
